Dearest Sally,
We are back in Joburg now trying to catch our breath after a whirlwind week in Cape Town
and settling into married life. We wanted to take a moment to give you some feedback about
our wedding on Horn Beach on Wednesday April 13th. The day was absolutely perfect and the
setting that you choose for us was exactly what we had imagined - so intimate, private and
absolutely beautiful. The flower arch on the beach and my bouquet along with the button holes
and corsages for the “Mothers’ were gorgeous - exactly what we asked for :) The make up and
hair ladies from Le Look that you suggested did a wonderful job on my Mother and Mother in
Law and my natural hair and make up was lovely. Greg was divine and very chilled - he looked the part in
his khaki slacks and bare feet and his laid back, cool style was very much in keeping with the ceremony that we wanted. Alain was also great - he was
fun and although we are still anxiously waiting on our pictures (he told us he had his appendix out after our wedding) we are sure that he will have captured the
pure, relaxed spirit of the event. Penny was super - she took care of all of the details on the beach and commented to us that she loved some of our ideas. The cake
turned out beautifully and we received many compliments on the style of the cake. It was very delicious. Salt was an excellent choice for the Reception - the food
and service were both superb! Thank you for taking all of the ideas, suggestions and special requests that Gary and I had for this very important day and making
them a reality.

The service we have received from Weddings Abroad has been first rate. From the first time we spoke to
Sally over the phone, we had the confidence that we were dealing with a highly skilled, well connected,
diligent and professional company. Throughout the 6 months covering initial contact to the ceremony
itself, Sally dealt with every aspect of the wedding from the flowers through to the wine choice at the
reception. Living so far from Cape Town (we are UK residents), it was critical for us that our wedding
planner not only knew the right suppliers (she certainly did) but also could listen to what we wanted
and provide realistic an appropriate options. Sally’s approach was to give us her initial assessment of
the best option and then to discuss and fine tune- whether in terms of colour choice or cost. In doing
this, she was extremely responsive to any questions raised via email or skype. Overall, we could not have
wished for a happier and more stress free day- the ceremony at Rhodes Memorial and reception at the 12
Apostles went off impeccably.
We cannot recommend Sally and team highly enough!

Hi Sally,
I hope you had a nice Christmas. Thank you again for everything you did to make our wedding day special. The Marine
hotel was really beautiful and the staff there took great care of us—thank you for telling them it was our honeymoon!
They sent us a bottle of champagne and put rose petals all over the room.
We got the DVD and had a chance to look at all the photos on our way to Buenos Aires. You really did a great job! It is
going to be hard to narrow it down and decide what photos we want to print. Thanks again for everything. We really
enjoyed working with you and truly appreciate all your efforts to make our wedding and honeymoon wonderful.
